Aloha Friday - Flowers or Chores?

Aloha Fridays are brought to you by Kailani from An Island Life. Over there in Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So Kailani thought that on Fridays she would take it easy on posting, too. So, for Aloha Friday, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Answer my question and put one of your own up on your blog. Link up and check out other blogs that participate at An Island Life.

If you could have your choice of your significant other doing something nice for you, would it be a chore on the "honey-do" list, (or in my case, chores), or would you rather have flowers or some type of gift?

I personally would go for the chore list over any other type of gift. With the hours that my hubby works he is way too tired to ever get to his "honey-do" list. I get so happy when he hangs shelves or moves furniture, heck even when he mows the lawn! Gifts are nice, but we never have enough time to get anything done. So, if he takes the time out to get some chores done that I have specifically requested, it means the world to me. That's why I want to know if you would prefer a gift or a chore?

I am with ya! I really appreciate it when my husband puts in the effort to do something that he knows I'm wishing for... his time is worth more than flowers or a gift.

I think we have the same kind of husbands :)

If they were chores of my choosing then I'd totally go for the chores. I'll buy my own flowers. *grin*

Aloha!

*my Aloha Friday's up too!
Definitely having hubby do something to help. Of course, my husband also knows that I hate getting flowers. It bothers me to watch them die and see all of the money wasted.

Flowers + stay out of my way so I can get the chores done. It's the productive way around here :)

this is a tough one! depends on how many chores need to be done in the house - if there are a lot, iw ould feel less stressed if he helped w/ those. If things are pretty good on the house front, I love a little gift :)

maybe when he change the garbage bag whenever it's full..
Hubby already does chores....so I would have to vote on a gift....the shopping spree kind! :)
right now, I appreciate a mommy break .. that he take the kid out, to leave the house to myself and have peace and quiet for a day. I'll get all the chores done and no flowers necessary!
um chores... really not a second thought
