I Love these Chic Designer Aprons! - Flirty Aprons Review and Giveaway

When I was a young girl I remember spending much of my time cooking with my grandmother in her kitchen. She was a wonderful cook and loved teaching me the basics of cooking. Her very first rule of cooking was simple, and to her the most important. Always begin by putting on an apron. If you wanted to cook in her kitchen - best believe you were wearing an apron. Some of my fondest memories of my grandmother took place in that kitchen, wearing her aprons and learning to cook. In honor of my grandmother, whenever I am cooking a special meal, I simply must wear an apron. Which is one of the reasons that I was thrilled to be able to review an apron from Flirty Aprons.

Flirty Aprons creates high quality designer aprons for women, men and girls. When I first saw their website I fell in love with the patterns. I had never seen such beautiful aprons before! I had asked my husband to buy me an apron for Christmas a few years back and all he could find was a plain black one. Not that its bad but there is also nothing special about it either. I did not want some cheesy Kiss the Cook apron either! So when I first saw the aprons that Flirty Aprons had to offer I knew instantly that I just had to have one!

Flirty Aprons are made using soft designer fabric and have a strong two ply construction that won't fade or tear. They are 100% machine washable. Flirty Aprons are designed to fit every woman and are one size fits all. The long waist ties allow for the wearer to tie it in the back or wrap it around and have a flirty bow in the front. Another amazing feature that Flirty Aprons possess is a one year warranty. If the apron proves to be defective in materials or workmanship they will gladly repair or replace it with the same or similar style. Now that's what I call customer service! I have never heard of an apron with a warranty before. If for some reason you are not completely pleased with your apron, which I find nearly impossible, they offer a 30 day money back guarantee.


The Women's Original Flirty Apron that I chose to review is called Chic Pink, which is shown above. I know, shocking right? Me choose a pink apron, no way! I do love my pink but there are several fashionable styles to choose from so it really was a tough decision. Since the day that it arrived I have been wearing this beautiful apron, or my food making dress, as little Oscar likes to call it. Which I find so appropriate because you really do feel like you are wearing something special. I love the nostalgic feel of it and I think it makes me actually want to be a little more domestic! Its perfect for cooking, cleaning and doing the dishes, some could even use it for gardening. Not me though because I have a black thumb! I love that the girls aprons are made to match the women's aprons. They look so cute!

My only critique about Flirty Aprons is that they don't offer any aprons for little boys, only little girls. As a mother of three boys I know that boys like to spend time in the kitchen with their parents just as much as girls do. I found the website to be a little deceiving because when you click on the Children's Aprons tab the only aprons available are for little girls. I really wanted to see what they had for boys, so all though I find the little girl aprons to be darling, I was disappointed to see that was all that they had. I did find an area on the site that discusses catering to all children but all links were to the same little girls aprons. Hopefully in the future they will add more of a selection for both genders of children.

Everything else being said, I absolutely adore my Flirty Apron. I think that it would make a wonderful and unique gift for any woman, whether or not they like to cook.
