ATG Stores You Light Up My Life! ATG Stores Review and $100 Gift Certificate Giveaway

Lately I have been itching to do some home improvements. Our house is getting a little older and the finishes in the house are not exactly what I would have picked had I been the one choosing them. As many of you know after you purchase a home sometimes its hard to find the extra cash to do some home improvements so you wait until the time is right, or you are just plain sick of looking at what you don't like. My goal over the year is to make small changes throughout the house that make a big impact. The house needs to be modernized a bit and brought up to date.

One of the easiest ways to update a look in a room, besides paint, is changing out the light fixtures. This has been on my "to do" list for quite some time. When ATG Stores contacted me about doing a review for an item of my choosing from one of their 400 plus stores obviously I was hardly able to contain my excitement!

For my first official minor home improvement I decided to choose a light fixture for our kitchen dining area. The one we had was dated and I was never fond of the dark rustic brown color. Over the last few years I have added splashes of brushed nickel in the kitchen dining area so I was on the hunt for a light fixture that was larger, brighter and brushed nickel. I found the PERFECT one at Lighting Universe, for $100. From the moment my husband and I saw the Nuvo Lighting 60-1 Gotham 3 Light Chandelier, we were in love. Isn't it gorgeous?

My husband didn't have any problems removing the old fixture and installing the new one. The quality and look of the light fixture update the kitchen so much! The design is simple and elegant. Switching from one bulb to three has brightened up the space a lot. We couldn't be happier with our new light fixture.
