Summer is almost here and for many of us that means backyard BBQ's, picnics and parties. Which also means being offered exorbitant amounts of food to consume at these get togethers. Its tough to stick to eating right during all of the summer fun so I was psyched to learn about the Pound for Pound Challenge.

I visited www.pfpchallenge.com and made my pledge to lose 10 lbs by the end of June. I was also pleased to see that my hometown of Shoreline, WA was in second place as the community with the most pledges. I was so proud of my Shoreline peeps! Currently there are over 200 thousand participants and over 6 million total pounds pledged. Make your pledge and help feed the hungry in your community today.
Get Tips for Losing Weight and Staying Healthy from The Biggest Loser
By now, most of us are familiar with NBC's hit show, The Biggest Loser. Its probably safe to say that millions of Americans have watched this show and learned some healthy eating tips, as well as exercises, and implemented them in to their lifestyle. The Biggest Loser has partnered up with General Mills, Kroger Co. Family of Stores and other key sponsors to donate $1,080,000 to Feeding America this year.
If you are a fan of The Biggest Loser you may have noticed several great General Mills products featured on the show.
