Aloha Friday - Small Towns or Big Cities

[alohafriday.jpg]

Aloha Fridays are brought to you by Kailani from An Island Life. Over there in Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So Kailani thought that on Fridays she would take it easy on posting, too. So, for Aloha Friday, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Answer my question and put one of your own up on your blog. Link up and check out other blogs that participate at An Island Life.

Do you live in a small town or a big city, and does where you live suit your personality?

I have always been a city girl.  Always.  I love to shop, dine out and catch a movie within a short distance of my home.  Recently my hubby's job relocated us to a very small town.  If I want to see a movie, shop or go to one of my favorite restaurants its about an hour give or take to get to anything.  I can't wait to move back to a real city.  Only three more years to go and counting....

I'm living in a big city state.. not staying in the city centre though as it's too costly there but on the fringes.. so far it has been okay for us.

Currently I'm living in a very small town in PA. Having grown up in the Seattle area, I miss the option of having lots to do vs. here there's nothing. I can't wait to move back (which will be happening in the next year or two...woohoo!) :)

I live in a big city, and wouldn't have it any other way.
Have a great weekend!

I grew up in a really big city and now I live in a small city. There is a lot to be said about living a lesser-paced lifestyle although, I do miss some of the sophistication.

Have a great Friday!

I grew up in a small town and we lived in the country, I loved it. Now we live in a suburb of Columbus, OH. I don't mind it, because I feel like I am out enough from the big city.

I live in a town. I really love it cause it is near three big cities, I love the city but love the county also. I have the best of both worlds.
Big city I have always lived in a suburb close to the city and enjoyed going downtown

I live in a suburb, close to a city/town kinda deal. It's calm and I like it, but I wish we had more parks for the kids here and also sidewalks to ride our bikes and etc.

Aloha!

We live in a city but also have a ranch so we kinda get the best of both worlds but the next house we buy will have some land around it! City yards are way too small for 3 dogs and kids : )

It's kind of both I guess. My neighborhood is small but pretty well developed with lots of stores and businesses.
