Edie Art Giveaway

Edie Art is one of my latest and no doubt greatest Etsy finds. Edie Art sells original paintings, prints, pendants and more that are all designed by Edie. Edie is an extremely well traveled, self taught painter and musician. The art that Edie creates is predominately with bold and vibrant colors. Much of her art is figurative or imaginiative in expression and has a simplistic dream like quality about it, which is one of the reasons that I love her artwork. Edie Art is so versatile in nature because it can be used to decorate children's rooms, family rooms, livingrooms and more. The abstract fluidity of the pieces allow flexability of interpretation depending upon the theme of the room it is displayed in.

One of my favorite prints offered in her collection is the Mother with Baby pictured below. I love the abstract subtlety of this print. The colors are so beautifully blended together but the body of the mother and the baby are so clearly seen. This print could easily decorate a nursery or any other room in the house. The print itself is 5x7 and comes framed in a 8x10 off-white matt board. This wonderful print is available for$15.

As I mentioned earlier Edie Art also designs unique and artful pendants in addition to her paintings and prints. My favorite necklace is the Two Little Birds Necklace. The pendant is made of oven baked clay, hand painted with acrylics and then varnished for protection. It hangs from a 15" handmade copper chain and jump ring. This beautiful necklace is available for $29.
