I have been fortunate enough to be able to review the Snack and Play Travel Tray from Star
Kids. This is one of those "why didn't somebody think of this sooner?" products for me. The only downside of this product for me is that I don't have two more! I was able to use the Snack and Play Travel Tray with all three of my boys. I did have to stop the older ones from beating each other up over who got to try it first, but when all was said and done they each really enjoyed it.
I can't count how many times I have had to reach back and forth to give the boys something while I am driving. I know that anyone that has children has been there. I swear everytime I would hand the item to them without fail they will drop it on the floor within a minute. Then the crying would begin as I try to calmly explain to them that I can't pull over every time they drop a toy. If I did, God knows that I would never get anywhere! Lets not even talk about the amount of food that has been wasted when I have to come to a stop and little fingers are not prepared for the jolt, resulting in their food all over the floor. I think we all know how hard it is to explain to kids that once it falls on the floor its done for, there is no three second rule. These reasons are why I am so grateful to finally have a product that solves this problem!
The Snack and Play Travel Tray provides a firm and sturdy surface for snacks, toys, books or whatever else you can think of that your child would like to use while trapped in their carseat or booster seat. It is covered with nylon fabric that is easy to wipe and clean spills off of. There is a strap that attaches and detaches on both sides that go around the child seat, stroller or even airplane seat. This is an awesome feature because it keeps the tray in place and avoids slippage. The Snack and Play Travel Tray's foam insert collapses on impact so there is no need to worry about the safety of your child in the case of an accident. The best part in my opinion is the padded rim. It keeps all objects, snack or otherwise, from rolling off of the tray. There are also two mesh side pockets for holding everything that your child likes to travel with.
The tray is ideal for short or long trips. I was able to use it with all three of my boys. My five year old liked to use it for holding is DS and extra games. The middle guy, now four, loves to eat fries in the car and used it for this. He actually got the most use out of it because he loves to eat snacks and is constantly needing somewhere to put them down when he wants to take a drink from his sippy cup. Who knows, I may even get crazy and actually let him ue ketchup in the car now. Well, I guess I shouldn't get too ahead of myself! My littlest one will be nine months old next week. He will be transitioning from a infant carrier to a real carseat very shortly. This will be great for keeping toys and snacks available for him as well. He was able to try it out with our stroller. He LOVED it! I put a car and a little book on it for him while I went strolling around the mall. The only times that the items got lost was when they fell back into the stroller seat. Needless to say he was very content! Below are some pictures of two of my guys using it.
All in all, the Snack and Play Travel Tray gets an enthusiastic thumbs up! I really love it and I seriously need to get myself another one, if not two. It is easily affordable and a definite must have for only $19.99. This product helps promote independance and minimizes frustration for both parents and children. I think it is the greatest thing since strollers and car seats were invented!! And the very best part about it is that it works for both strollers and car seats.

*It's got a ton of pockets for anything & everything.
*It has edges, which makes that the things can't roll off.
*it's great for everyone, whether you travel mainly by car or stroller/walking. It's even greast for the plane. I wish I had it for tomorrow, as I'll be flying with my 2 kids
Well, I still hope I win it, as I would definitely make alot of use from it.

I especially like the high rims on the side so nothing falls off the tray. And the fact that it snaps on and off easily. Huge deal for me!!
With 4 kids, we could easily use one of these!!
