Music Monday - I Want Candy!




This is such a catchy tune. I love it! I am apologizing in advance for this song being stuck in your head for the rest of day.

It is hard to believe that Lwin, the singer, was only 15 years old in this video. It does kind of explain the shaved hair-do though. When I was in seventh grade it was all the rage at my school for the girls to shave the bottom half of their hair off. All the girls looked normal until they put their hair up in ponytails. Then the shaved head was revealed. I'm sure all of their mothers were upset, I know mine would have been. I didn't have the guts to shave my head. One of my close friends did, all the time, even after the trend was over. I think that she even still does it today every now and then.
