Wordless Wednesday - Purple Sand Dollars

I mentioned in Monday's post that our family visited Tolmie State Park last weekend and saw some really great sealife. My fav were the sand dollars, I had never seen a live sand dollar before and had know idea that they were purple! So many others commented that they didn't know that either so here are the pics for you all to enjoy!



I tried to take a closer up look of the feelers on the bottom, but it came out a little blury.

We had an experience with starfish all over the beach that I will never forget. These look like they were very cool to experience. I am sure that day will stay with you. Thanks for sharing.

Oh my gosh! How cool is that? I never knew they were purple either! I've only ever seen them white and on the shore! So cool!
