Not Me Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I was not totally happy that Mad Men returned on Sunday night! I have not been anticipating watching it forever. I was not really annoyed that I got totally interrupted and could not sit down and watch it in its entirety. Between my kids and my husband I never get to see anything when it airs and in full, nope, not me. I did not get in an argument with the hubby over what was more important, making him pico di gallo or watching Mad Men. I was not irritated that I had to do both at the same time. But what I did catch was fabulous! I can't wait to see what the rest of the season has in store.

The biggest news of all is that Emilio is finally walking! He has been able to take a few steps here or there, but as of this weekend he really got his balance and his footing so he is able to cruise everywhere. I should have been, but wasn't prepared at all for how amazing it is to see the sparkle in his eyes as he makes those strides across the room. I was not completely beaming with joy to see how proud he was of himself, nope not me! I am definitely not in need of shopping for some new shoes for the little guy, I would never put that off until the last minute. I would never take him to McDonalds and torture him by letting him watch his older brothers run around and then confine him to the small bench and walkthrough area because I did not want him rubbing and crawling all over the germ infested floor, not me. I would not be surprised if that floor had not been cleaned and sanitized in years!

Congrats to Emilio on those first steps! That is so exciting!

No way would I have let him crawl around McDonald's either!

The McD's floors are so disgusting. But yeah for the big guy learning to walk!

I tend to watch my shows online after they have aired. I like it because I don't have TiVo and I can watch them online w/out commercials. :)

Thank God for my DVR, and the fact that I can pause live tv. I NEVER can watch anything without getting interrupted...NEVER. Yet my hubs goes in the bedroom and nobody bothers him for hours.
