I have never really considered myself to be a crafty kind of gal. I have always aspired to be though. It isn't until now that I am older and I have the patience to see things through and take the time to learn from start to finish how to do something the correct way that the artist inside has now begun to flourish. In the early stages of my artisic discovery I came across a wonderful site, YouCanMakeThis.com.

If you are like me I am sure that you have wondered at least a time or two "That _____ looks so cute and simple I wonder how they make that?" Well, YouCanMakeThis.com answers that question. This super fun site was created by a stay at home mom that wanted to create a place where normal everyday women could go to learn how to make items for their homes and families. YouCanMakeThis.com has step by step instructions for many projects that have easy to follow E-Books with pictures that guide you through the entire process so that even the most "craft challenged" person could learn to create awesome stuff. They also have simple and easy projects for kids to do as well. The e-Books are available to purchase for very nominal fees that will vary depending upon the project. YouCanMakeThis also offers a ton of free e-Books as well to get you familiar with the process and what to expect with an e-Book that you might decide to purchase. With new e-Books being added all the time the possibilities are endless.

Lets say that you are a talented designer, in addition to learning new projects you can also teach others how to make and design your unique products. I think that one of the most awesome things about YouCanMakeThis is if you are really experienced at a particular craft they offer a Designer-Author program where you can share your skills in an E-book of your own and gain a profit for doing it.

Tutus are a very popular choice for a Halloween costume. I was given the e-Book for a Fancy Filled Tutu for review. This e-Book in particular costs $7.99. I have always wanted to learn how to make a tutu because I think that they would make a great gift for my neice. The Fancy Filled Tutu e-Book is a very clear and easy to follow guide on how to make a filled tutu. The pictures are very clear, concise and easy to understand. Step by step it takes you through the process from start to finish. I have not had the time to try to make one yet but I did read through all of the instructions. It does require some use of a sewing maching for this project in particular, but even I understood the directions - and I am definitely not a sewing pro. Tutus are so popular among little girls, so I am really thankful to have this tuturial and I can't wait to try it! Not to mention that there are 40 different tutu recipes included in the e-Book to get the ideas flowing.
