Aloha Friday - Christmas Wishes

Aloha Fridays are brought to you by Kailani from An Island Life. Over there in Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So Kailani thought that on Fridays she would take it easy on posting, too. So, for Aloha Friday, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Answer my question and put one of your own up on your blog. Link up and check out other blogs that participate at An Island Life.

What do you really want for Christmas that you absolutely know without a doubt you just wont get? Is is something expensive? Or maybe something you have no control over - like snow, relatives or an activity?

There are two things that I really want for Christmas that I know I will not be getting. The first is WAY MORE SLEEP, the second is a maid service. I need way more time in the day to accomplish meeting the needs of my children, meeting the demands of my blog and also finding time to manage my wifely duties of cooking and cleaning. Lately my hubby has been helping with the dishes and washing the clothes but thats as close to a maid service as it gets. I have often talked about hiring someone but the hubs is against paying for anything that we can do ourselves. Which under normal circumstances I would agree with but I seriously don't remember the last time that I felt my whole entire house was clean - at the same time. Lately its been only half the house at a time. Anyways, a clean house is at the very top of my wish list - any way you slice it - I don't see that happening in time for Christmas.

all i really wanted last Christmas was to have some of the rooms in my house professionally painted. my husband said we could, and would, do it during the year. here it is a year later and the walls still are an ugly white. maybe this year, but i kinda doubt it.

wishing you a merry Christmas.

I'd like the garage addition that my husband is working on to be done, but the poor man is so overworked already. He'll get to when he gets to it.

Oh i so wanted to be home for Christmas .. this was my biggest wish this year.. i wanted to see grandma and my best friend's who's pregnant(36 weeks)and all the friends and family...yet the plane tickets were too expensive even if we wanted to buy them early in November... so this is one thing i am sure i won't get this year! Oh and also.. i know i won't get a blackberry:( maybe next year:)

i just want my hubby home... but we have a few more months for that
I just want some certainty in my life. I have to fight with insurance and the govt through a lawyer and it is very stressful.
My greatest Chanukah wish is that hubby's job is not threatened with a major merger that is about to take place. Makes me really nervous.

I'd love for my house to be neat and clean with no clutter! With 2 boys that never happens or at least for long.

Definitely, we need an extra room for a playroom and finish the fence. But both are expensive, so no chance.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Stopping from An Island Life.

I would love to have internet access on my cell phone but too expensive on our budget. I wouldn't mind a Kindle either since I am an avid book reader.

Good luck on your wishes Pretty Pink Momma! :)
