Aloha Friday - Time for a Change

Aloha Fridays are brought to you by Kailani from An Island Life. Over there in Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So Kailani thought that on Fridays she would take it easy on posting, too. So, for Aloha Friday, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Answer my question and put one of your own up on your blog. Link up and check out other blogs that participate at An Island Life.

Have you ever tried to drastically change your lifestyle and your schedule? Did it work?

On Monday the hubby and I are attempting to completely switch our schedules around. Normally we go to bed late, like after midnight at the earliest, and get up early. He gets up at 6 and I get up at 7ish with the kids. Starting on February 1st we really want to try to see if we can start getting up at 4 in the morning and go to bed at around 9. Our plan is to get up, eat breakfast and then workout together. Then we can get our showers done and be ready for the day before the kids get out of bed. I'm not sure if its gonna work but I definitely want to give it shot. Have you ever tried to drastically change your lifestyle and your schedule?

Oh my gosh! Good for you guys! I think that just the fact that you guys are doing it together, you can encouraged & motivate each other!!

Hmm...I think the only drastic change I've ever done was to start homeschooling my kids. LOL

Yeah we did change our lifestyle/schedule a couple of times... first when we got married, then when we moved in here, then with the new jobs, and now i guess we're trying to eat healthier and work out more.. which all worked out.. sometimes harder sometimes easier.. but it worked somehow:)
Happy Friday and here's my Aloha

I think it works out best when you have to change your schedule.

I resigned my job, got married, sold my house, and moved to South Carolina in a three week period. It took less than a month for most of my world to change.

Good Luck! The only drastic change I've had is with babies up in the middle of the night!

Well, good luck!! I know I would never be able to get up that early. I did change my eating habits very dramatically a few years ago and it was way easier than I thought it was because I was so dedicated to it.
Hubby and I have done drastic changes like that that work so long as we do it together (we did the working out at night with EA Sports Active). Good luck, that is a great project that will benefit both of you.

The only drastic change I made was when I decided to start working out, eat healthier, and lose weight. I was totally focused. And it worked!
Yes I have and it does work as long as you stay consistent. Good luck!

You go girl...I will be rooting for you in my dreams. :) Don't give up...it's going to take awhile for your bodies to get use to it. It's going to be tough in the beginning but you can do it! I will be cheering you on.
