Wordless/Wordful Wednesday - Benji isn't a baby any more!

On Friday Benji graduated from preschool. It was a huge deal for him and we were all so proud. He was so excited, he even picked out the shirt that he was going to wear a few days in advance. Benji was at this preschool for two full years. I am so thankful to all the teachers in the classroom. They really helped Benji to come out of his shell this last year. Preschool hasn't been easy for him with his social and language delays but it sure was fun for him!

His graduation was so cute. They entered in a procession and took their places. Then they sang songs. After that each of them came up and got their diploma. During that time the teacher shared some facts about each child, including what they want to do when they grow up. My heart melted when Benji said that he wanted to grow up and fix tires just like his dad. He was so funny because afterwards he made it clear to us that he just wanted to fix tires, "Only tires! Nothing else!" he said. Too cute!

Congratulations Benji! You are so ready for Kindergarten now!

I love what he is going to grow up to be. I am surprised he didn't say that he was going to be a razor scooter driver! LOL

He's so darling! I love that kindergartens make that fuss for them. It's a big deal to move to first grade!

Congrats to the graduate! Good luck next year. I have one heading to Kindergarten too and I'm still not quite sure how I feel about that!
