Seeing as my camera was stolen with the rest of my luggage I am resorting to some pictures that I took with my cell phone while on our business trip to San Francisco. While we were there we had one free day for lunch anywhere of our choosing. We, and by we I mostly mean I, wanted to go to the Cheesecake Factory. I love that place! Free - even better.
Because we wanted to sit down at a table sooner rather than later we opted to eat outside on the deck area, which isn't really a deck its just the rooftop area. It was a super windy day and I was freezing my butt off even underneath the heat lamps. What we really weren't prepared for was the mega frenzy of pigeons attacking all the patrons.
I and several others snapped photos of the crazy, relentless, rats with wings that scavenged the floors looking for anything that might drop their way. What was picture worthy was the way that the pigeons instantly flocked to a table immediately after the people dining left. They pecked at the plates and tried to devour any food as quickly as they could before someone came to clear the table. It was CRAZY!
And kind of gross. I tried not to picture pigeons dancing all over the table that I was eating at. Or worse yet, pooping on the table that I was eating at.
