Aloha Friday - Birthday Fun

[alohafriday.jpg]

Aloha Fridays are brought to you by Kailani from An Island Life. Over there in Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So Kailani thought that on Fridays she would take it easy on posting, too. So, for Aloha Friday, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Answer my question and put one of your own up on your blog. Link up and check out other blogs that participate at An Island Life.

How did you spend your last birthday?

Tomorrow is my 31st birthday. I still don't know what I am doing to celebrate.  One of my best friends son's 6th birthday party is at Chuck E. Cheese so part of my birthday will unfortunately be spent there.  The rest, who knows.  Last year for my thirtieth birthday I went all out and drank the night away.  I felt that it was only right that I end the twenties as drunk as I started them!  This year though, I want it to be a little more low key.  I can't decide if I want to go out with my friends or just go home so I'm just gonna play it by ear.

I spent it working. I tried to keep my crew from finding out but they did and the captain made the entire plane filled with passengers sing to me. So embarrassing!

I spent mine testing out some of the kitchen gadgets I received as gifts. Doesn't sound like much but I had a blast cooking and drinking margaritas with my family and friends.

Well first of all HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hmmmm last year I think I was queen for the day at our house. By the time you hit 45 you run out of stuff to do, lol.

Happy Birthday!

Usually we just keep it low key here - if my parents and siblings weren't 3000 miles away it would probably be a bigger thing. But I enjoy either going out to a nice dinner with the hubby and Princess Nagger, or hubby will cook (one of the few times he does!) or order dinner from an excellent Italian place down the road. :)

Hope you get to do something more exciting than Chuck E. Cheese tomorrow! ;)

I did not do mush. Mine is coming up and I will be going to my daughters school concert and out to dinner .
Happy B-day tomorrow!

My last birthday was stuck at home in a snowstorm. To make things more interesting my then 6 year old was hit near the eye with a shovel and ended up in the ER that evening. All plans for dinner out were canceled. Ah, the joys of a winter birthday in upstate NY.

I don't like to make a lot of fuss over my birthday. We had a nice day at home - my husband grilled dinner and we enjoyed the evening with our kids and my mother.

I took the day off of work and spent it with my daughter who was 18 months at the time. We had lunch out, got cupcakes, and then met up with my husband for dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Fun day!

I lost my mother a week before my last birthday so I did not do a whole lot last year.

Have a great Friday!
