Aloha Friday - The Company Christmas Party

[alohafriday.jpg]

Aloha Fridays are brought to you by Kailani from An Island Life. Over there in Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So Kailani thought that on Fridays she would take it easy on posting, too. So, for Aloha Friday, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Answer my question and put one of your own up on your blog. Link up and check out other blogs that participate at An Island Life.

Do you have a company Christmas party that you will be going to this year? If so, are you excited to go or not so much?

Each year we have to go to my husband's company Christmas party.  They used to be okay, held at restaurants with open bars but last year it was at his manager's apartment cabana - and it was potluck!  El cheap-o!  This year I am really excited because they decided to step it up a notch and take everyone out to the Japanese steak house across the street from his work.  That place is pretty pricey and really delicious so I can't wait to go.  My husband is the assistant manager so he doesn't have a choice, he has to go.  Plus we never like to skip out because its also the same time that the boss hands out the Christmas bonus's - don't want to miss that!

I'm a stay-at-home mom so no company party for me. My husband is a firefigher and they do not really have any company parties, either.

Hubby's company has their company party in February...I know, LATE! Apparently they forgot to book a place one year, and had to do it after the first of the year. We usually go, but didn't last year for some reason. Not sure if we'll be going this year - it's sort of anti-climactic to have it after the holidays are long over! ;)

Aloha: Shopping
I write for a local magazine and we are having a holiday lunch out today. When I was teaching, I was not too excited about parties since they were late and took me away from my family.
hubby's sort-of-company party is at his boss' house. i like it there because i like hubby's boss' wife. it's like attending a friend's Christmas party.

We don't have one to go to but honestly I wouldn't mind if we did.

No Christmas party here. I used to when I used to work.

It would be nice to go to one now. Just to get out of the house and do something.

I don't think we do this year. Hubby's job usually does it after the holidays.

Have a great Friday!
