Wordless/Wordful Wednesday - The Great Toy Clean Up of 2011

This last weekend we spent our time sorting through the toy madness that is our house.  It was an event I liked to refer to as The Great Toy Clean Up of 2011.  We have a hard time getting rid of toys because having all boys when one is finished playing with a toy usually the next one down the line will find it interesting - provided it makes it them all in one piece that is!

We made it a family event and insisted that all the boys participate.  Here are the pictures from the beginning of the process:

Half way through...

DONE! Until next year that is...

In total we got rid of tons of toys and filled up two huge moving boxes that are ready to be donated.  It feels so good to have the toys all neat and organized again!

Uugghh! I feel like I do this on a weekly basis. Not fun!
Wow that's such a big job! I always aim to clean the living room up each day but it's a never ending cycle.

I got exhausted just looking at that clean up job. Now tell us, how long did it stay clean? If your house is anything like mine it didn't last more than an hour.
