Claudia Olivos Art Giveaway!

11:04 AM Posted by Kimberly@PrettyPinkMomma

From time to time I like to bring to your attention some fantastic artists that I come across on Etsy. Today is no exception! Claudia Olivos is a wonderful full time artist that hails from Chile, but currently lives in Arlington, Virgina. Claudia Olivos specializes in drawing, painting and collage/assemblage. Her paintings have been featured in several publications including on the cover of Coming Home by J. Pizarro, and on the cover of the CD, Octaves Beyond Silence featuring Eve Ensler and Indigo Girls, a CD made to benefit women survivors of violence in Rwanda, Bosnia & Afghanistan, and a book of Latin American Poetry (2007).

Not only is Claudia Olivos a fantastic artist but she also loves to teach her craft to those in her community. Whether it is teaching at risk youth or leading community workshops Claudia Olivos loves to share her love of art with others. She currently teaches at The Art League School in Alexandria, and is faculty at the Art Institute of Washington.

Claudia Olivos has her own website http://www.claudiaolivos.com/ where you can find her work. However, in her Etsy shop she loves to list her best deals as well as prints of her work. All of her work is original - made by her and signed by her. I love the style of her work. I love art that involves people and the everyday. Some of my favorites of her work are shown below.

I love this one because it reminds me of little Oscar as a baby. He had so much hair!

The paintings and prints that Claudia Olivos creates have a really whimisical, yet realistic feeling all at once. She offers beautiful mother and child, as well as other great art pieces that include children like those I featured above. In addition to mothers and children she also has a gorgeous selection of nature inspired pieces as well. Below are some examples.

These are examples of some of her prints listed in her Etsy shop. Many of the prints available are from paintings and drawings that are still available to purchase. To check out more amazing art by Claudia Olivos you can visit her website http://www.claudiaolivos.com/ . To find her best deals go visit her Etsy shop Claudia Olivos. Claudia Olivos also has an awesome blog that you can check out as well to see what is going on with her and her art. You can also follow Claudia on twitter to get her latest updates. Her twitter userid is twitter.com/olivosartstudio.

Five Thing Friday!

12:00 AM Posted by Kimberly@PrettyPinkMomma

Pretty Pink Momma

Its time for Five Thing Friday! This is my opportunity to share some of the bits and peices about me or anything going on in my crazy life so you can get to know me a little bit better. I would love for you to join me in the fun so I can learn more about you! Just grab the Five Thing Friday button on the right sidebar and post a comment letting me know that you are joining in on the fun and I will be sure to read your Five Things!

1. I am kind of a germaphobe. For example, when I get fountain drinks filled up at fast food places when I grab a lid I never take one off of the top. I always grab some a little further down in the stack in hopes that it hasn't been touched by a ton of people.

2. Benji started receiving additional speech therapy today. He will go once a week. This should be good for him and for us! The best part...our insurance covers everything! We don't even have to worry about the copay. So awesome!

3. This week I watched Role Models. I thought that this movie was hilarious! I really like Paul Rudd and Sean William Scott isn't so bad either. He is one funny guy.

4. Lately I have been so tired. Everyday I get out of bed hoping that I can crawl back in later, but later never comes. There is always something that needs to be done. ALWAYS.

5. I am addicted to Cherry Coke. It is so yummy, but really unhealthy. I go through phases where I will totally overdose on it then when I get really sick of it I quit it cold turkey.

Well thats it for this weeks Five Thing Friday! To learn more about me you can check out past Five Thing Fridays.

Wordless Wednesday

12:00 AM Posted by Kimberly@PrettyPinkMomma

Emilio was eating his puffs one morning and I looked back at him to find a puff eye patch! So, instead of wiping it off, naturally I grabbed my camera. He totally didn't even notice it just hanging there, forever... Then he hammed it up for the camera! Finally I took it off once I saw that he wasn't going to do anything about it. Enjoy, Pirate Puff Emilio!

My Sweet Bowtique $25 Gift Certificate Giveaway

2:43 PM Posted by Kimberly@PrettyPinkMomma

As you can see from some of the pictures I have put up of Emilio, he has the cutest patch of hair in the front of his head. It parts and gathers perfectly in the front. If he was a girl I would most definitely put the cutest clips in his hair. I will admit though, that I have made my own clippies for my friends daughter and tested their non slip grip on that cute little patch. I'm sure that he will love to hear about that when he's a teenager! Well, if I did have a little girl with that same perfect patch I would get a whole bunch of cute little clips from My Sweet Bowtique.

My Sweet Bowtique has one of the hugest selections of clips that I have personally ever seen! You can order your clip in any way that you want. Either a 1 1/4" snap clip or a 1 3/4" alligator clip. Majority of the designs are shown on the snap clips, so if you would like that design on a alligator clip that is shown in a snap clip style you would just need to specify when ordering.

My Sweet Bowtique has an incredible selection of designs that are categorized on the left menu by type so you can find exactly what type of snap or clip that you are looking for with total ease. Bows, Butterflies, Fruits and Sweets are only a few of the categories. Below is a sample smattering of selection from each of those categories.

Can you believe the selection? This is only a handful of the options that are available at My Sweet Bowtique!

In addition to premade bows My Sweet Bowtique also has a great selection of handmade bows as well. You can find them in small, medium or large sizes. The handmade bows come in three styles, boutique, bowtie and loopy. Again, you will need some time to look them over and decide your favorites because the selecion is HUGE! Below is a small sample from each size category.

This is a sample of loopy bows from the small handmade collection.

This is a sample of bow ties from the medium bow collection.

This is a sample of some of the boutique style bows from the large bow collection.

In addition to the awesome selection of bows My Sweet Bowtique also has a huge selection of adjustable headbands that can be worn from infant to adult. These headbands are offered in a ribbon size of 5/8 or 7/8, and in a ton of fun patterns. Below is an example of an adjustable headband in the 7/8 size as well a small sample of the 7/8 ribbon patterns that are available.

Not only is the selection mind boggling but the prices for these items are fanastic! Prices for clips start at $1.75 and the most expensive items on the site are the headbands for $5. My Sweet Bowtique is truly one of the best clip and bow sites that I have come across. Please go check them out and see for yourself!

My Sweet Bowtique is graciously giving one very lucky Pretty Pink Momma reader a $25 gift certificate and free shipping of their items!

Here's How to Enter: Visit
My Sweet Bowtique and comment back on this post with what two items are your most favorite. Remember to be specific with item numbers and styles. This must be done before any extra entries will count. This giveaway open to US and Canada only.

15% OFF Your First Purchase at Ebeanstock

5:15 AM Posted by Kimberly@PrettyPinkMomma

In a previous post I told you all how excited I was to learn about Ebeanstalk and their selection of toys categorized by a child's development. For me this is a great resource because my children are not on target with meeting their developmental milestones. At Ebeanstock I van find toys that specifically suit their needs. Here is some info about the company straight from the horses mouth.

Ebeanstalk is dedicated to a baby's development. And we select the best baby toys matched to a baby's development.
To see great information on how a baby grows up, check out the info on our baby toys page.

Picking toys for a baby is not as simple as it sounds. Here are some
quick baby facts:

  • Toys for a newborn baby: A newborn baby is briefly looking at objects and
attempting to imitate facial expressions. They can follow objects with their
eyes and usually quiet down, when they are picked up.

  • Toys for a three month old: They will enjoy ‘frolic play', reaching for
objects and will repeat enjoyable activities. Believe it or not, they will
respond to ‘no' (about half the time) and will start babbling.

  • Toys for a six month old: They'll search for hidden objects (object
permanence). They'll reach for themselves in the mirror, play peekaboo, crumple
paper, roll from their stomach to their back and even respond to their
    name.

  • Toys for a nine month old: They are pushing toy cars, playing pat-a-cake and
looking for hidden sounds. The baby toys they are playing with are also getting
    more fun.

If you would like to try out Ebeanstalk for yourself, here is a 15% discount on any first purchase at ebeanstalk — TGS345 — just enter the code at the shopping cart.

Five Thing Friday #10

4:43 AM Posted by Kimberly@PrettyPinkMomma

Pretty Pink Momma

Its Five Thing Friday time again! This is where I like to share five random things about myself or my crazy life with all of you! Hopefully you will get to know me a little bit better. I invite you to play along and share five random things about yourself with me. Just grab the button on my side bar or copy the image from above. Make sure to leave a comment if you play along so that I can go and check out your post!

1. I made some super delicious banana bread on Wednesday. No surprise that it is completely gone by today.

2. I really want to get a dog again. Ever since our family dog, Chewy, died unexpectedly a couple of years ago Little Oscar has been buggin' for one. I want one too but its just not the right time yet. For some reason though I have my heart set on a female yellow lab. Does anyone have any experience with labs?

3. I can't wait until Monday! The Hubs and I work opposing schedules so when there is a holiday its the only time that we can all be together and have a fun family day. Hopefully once my business takes off I can quit my weekend job and finally enjoy Sundays once again.

4. I just finished watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I was totally shocked by the nudity in the first few scenes of the movie. I was laughing my ass off at my husband because he was shocked too. He was horrified that he didn't have time to look away before another man's junk was flashed repeatedly on the TV. I loved it. In movies you see naked chicks all the time, its so rare when there is naked dude.

5. I got a Wii Fit this week. I was not loving my Mii character after the weigh in. Its bad enough I see it in a mirror in real life, I don't need a reminder in a video game. Thankfully when your working out it changes back to the normal Mii. That's a little bit more motivational for me.

That wraps up my Five Thing Friday! To learn more about little old me you can check out my past Five Thing Friday's.

Purex Complete 3-in-1 Laundry Sheets Review

12:37 PM Posted by Kimberly@PrettyPinkMomma

I was asked to give my opinion on the new Purex Complete 3-in-1 Laundry Sheets. After receiving the sample pack in the mail, and trying it out, I am thrilled to tell you about it. In case you have know idea what this new laundry product is all about, let me explain.

This is a revolutionary new way to do laundry. The Purex Complete 3-in-1 Laundry Sheet system is the simplest way to do laundry. Each sheet contains the active ingredients for cleaning, softening and static reduction. It has taken three laundry products and combined them into one simple and easy to use sheet.

I love the simple packaging that it comes in too. I keep my huge Costco sized laundry bottles up on a rack above the washing machine. When it is full it can be such a pain to get it down and hold it precariously as I get just the right amount of detergent in the tray. Not to mention I always, always get it on my hands. Detergent is so thick and nasty so I always have to wash my hands right after dispensing it in the tray. The Purex Complete 3-in-1 laundry sheets come in a small plastic refillable container. When you run out of sheets all you do is buy the refill package and fill it back up. In my opinion the only thing about the packaging that I would like to change is suction cups. My washing machine spins so fast that when I have a fuller load it vibrates like crazy. If I left the sheets on the machine they would move around. I could leave them on the rack but sometimes the vibrating makes the stuff on the rack fall off too. I am way too lazy to retrieve anything that falls behind the machine.

Using the laundry sheets is simple. You just put it in the machine with the load of laundry. If you have a really large load or extra soiled load you would put two sheets in. Wash the clothes like normal. During the wash the detergent will release from the sheet and clean the clothes. When the load is done simply transfer the clothes including the sheet to the dryer. The color stripe is heat activated by the dryer to soften the clothes and remove static.

I found that the part of the color stripe diminished during the wash cycle, but I wash my clothes using extra hot water. I do not feel that this changed the outcome of the clothes. I have to say that the clothes were still static free, soft and fresh smelling when they came out of the dryer.

I have to admit that I never use the liquid fabric softener. I have always wanted to try it but I am a set it and forget it type of gal and it is just one step I knew I could do without. I don't have the time or the patience to deal with putting in the fabric softener so I was thrilled that it was included in the laundry sheet. Because I never do purchase the liquid fabric softner that part is not really a savings issue for me. The fabric softner that I do use is included in the dryer sheets that I buy. So for me, it really only combines two products instead of three as far as the savings factor goes.

I do really like that you just throw it in the machine and your done. I hate having to measure out the liquid detergent so it is really nice that it is all ready done for me. The sheets are still a little tacky feeling like detergent is but you can avoid touching it by just grabbing it from the end with the color stripe. I do think that this a pretty simple and convenient product. Not to mention I don't have to worry about anyone sneaking up on me and slamming the tray shut so detergent flies everywhere!

I also think that this is a simplified system to teach your tweens and teens how to do their own laundry. I all ready have the boys take their clothes out of the washer and put them into the dryer. This is one of Benji's favorite chores! I started asking him to do that when I was pregnant with Emilio because the bending over to get everything out of the front loading machine was killing my back. I think that they will love to now participate in the washing of the clothes too.

Purex Complete 3-in-1 Laundry Sheets comes in three different fragrances. The one I tried, Spring Oasis, Tropical Escape and Pure and Clean. When I purchase the refill I will definitely go with the Pure and Clean. This is the hypoallergenic option, which is what I usually purchase for my family. I saw a starter pack for only $5.99 at my local grocery store. Also you can get a discount by using coupons offered at the Purex Complete 3-in-1 site.

Now, if they could just invent a dryer that folds all the clothes when its done drying them, my biggest laundry dilemma would be solved...

Kreated By Karina Soap and Lip Balm Giveaway

12:39 PM Posted by Kimberly@PrettyPinkMomma

Okay, I know that this is going to come as a shock to most of you but its not often that I get to shower everyday. Oh, you either? I thought so. For those of you that do get the pleasure you may not get what I am talking about. Being a busy SAHM, working on my blog, working on my business and taking care of the kids, the house, the bills - not to mention dinner three different ways, it can sometimes be hard to find time to fit in a shower. You say gross, I say who sees me anyways? The other moms at the bus stop know I never leave the house, except to go to the bus stop. Its funny cause they always know when I have had to go to the store or an appointment for my kids because I am wearing makeup and I am dressed decently.

Anyhow, back to the shower. When I take one I take forever! I think thats why I put it off. For some reason I just don't want to shower unless I can take my time and enjoy it. No worrying about the kids killing themselves or eachother, no crying baby, just me and hot water - together at last. That is my real me time. That's why it is the perfect time to break out some yummy soaps, relax and indulge myself. So it shouldn't be a shocker that I would love to tell you about Kreated by Karina.

Kreated by Karina has delicious looking handmade vegetarian soaps and shea butter lip balms. All though I haven't had the pleasure of trying them out for myself yet I am sure that they are every bit as delicious smelling and tasting in person as in the pictures. Karina has been making and selling her soaps and lip balms since 2001. All of her soaps are 100% vegetarian-friendly, have an incredible lather incomparable to mass-produced soaps, and are free of parabens, SLS/SLES and skin-drying chemicals. I have really sensitive, dry skin so these soaps sound like something that I could really benefit from. Kreated by Karina has been open on Etsy since 2006 and has over 1200 sales under its belt. All with 100% positive feedback!

Below are some pictures of some of the items at Kreated by Karina so you can see for yourself just what I am talking about when I say yummy.

In addition to the bars Kreated by Karina also offers a Body Souffle Soap that is a luxurious multi-lathering whipped soap. It is supposed to leave your skin even softer and smoother with a wonderful scent that lingers throughout the day. See what I mean? Yummy! Here is a picture of the Body Souffle Soap.

Kreated By Karina also offers a collection of Solid Perfumes. I know what you're thinking, just what in the world is a solid perfume? Karina has created a solid mixture of jojoba oil, shea butter, beeswax and fragrance so that you can discreetly rub on a small amount of fragrance anytime you need. This is a great idea! Just dab a little bit on your wrists or behind the ear and you won't have to worry about the dreaded perfume overkill. Subtle is great, too much can be just plain offending. The solid perfumes come in a tin, perfect for your pocket or your purse.

One of the best things about all of the items that Kreated by Karina offers is that they have natural ingredients and are extremely affordable. You can try any single item out in her shop for less than $5. Of course, if you are looking for a great gift idea, besides buying a single item, Kreated by Karina has really cool For Him and For Her gift sets for only $9.50. A New Look!

7:09 PM Posted by Kimberly@PrettyPinkMomma

Those of you that visit me regularly have surely noticed a change. I am loving my new redesign! It is now so much easier for everyone to check out all my chic finds thanks to my new navigation bars. I love the borders just how everything has a place. I still need to give it a few tweaks but overall, the redesign is complete. Now me and html don't really get along so I needed to call in the big dogs.

This redesign would not be possible without Emily from Polka Dot Pixels. Emily has spent the last few days changing and revamping everything to my liking. Believe me, not an easy task! She has had to redo a few things because I wanted slight changes here and there. I am a Libra so I was born indecisive. Luckily for me, she is a very nice gal and didn't mind the flip-flopping. She has been so helpful and responded quickly to my emails. She kept me updated on the whole process every step of the way. I really appreciated this.

A couple of times when Emily got a little stumped one of my BFF bloggy buds came to the rescue. You guessed it, I am talking about Felicia from Go Graham Go again. In a previous post I told you all how she created the banner and the button for Pretty Pink Momma out of the kindness of her heart. This time around she held some much needed info about the html for the ad widget. She was such a lifesaver! If you ever need tips and trips for blog stuff you can check out Felicia's other blog, Blog Designs Free.

Thanks so much to both of these awesome ladies! Without either of them Pretty Pink Momma wouldn't look so, you know, pretty.

Music Monday - I Want Candy!

12:01 AM Posted by Kimberly@PrettyPinkMomma

This is such a catchy tune. I love it! I am apologizing in advance for this song being stuck in your head for the rest of day.

It is hard to believe that Lwin, the singer, was only 15 years old in this video. It does kind of explain the shaved hair-do though. When I was in seventh grade it was all the rage at my school for the girls to shave the bottom half of their hair off. All the girls looked normal until they put their hair up in ponytails. Then the shaved head was revealed. I'm sure all of their mothers were upset, I know mine would have been. I didn't have the guts to shave my head. One of my close friends did, all the time, even after the trend was over. I think that she even still does it today every now and then.

Happy Music Monday!

Come join Music Monday and share your songs with us. One simple rule, leave ONLY the actual post link here. You can grab this code at LJL Please note these links are STRICTLY for Music Monday participants only. All others will be deleted without prejudice.

Not Me Monday

12:00 AM Posted by Kimberly@PrettyPinkMomma

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I haven't done a Not Me Monday in awhile, I miss it. Definitely looking forward to putting this back in to my Monday posts. Enjoy!

Last week I did not almost have a heart attack while taking a nice leisurely, or should I say stressful, walk with my sons around the block. I did not scream "Wait! Wait! Wait" in absolute terror when Benji ran out in front of a minivan. I did not first, thank my lucky stars that the driver of the minivan heard me, and second, scream in Benji's face about the dangers of cars, for the umpteenth time. I did not swear off walks with the kids. Nope, not me!

I would never just get jeans on and throw water in my hair to make it look like I have been ready to go all morning when I have to get Oscar at the bus stop. I do not just put my PJ's right back on as soon as I get back inside. Not me, never!

When little Oscar clogged the toilet last week, using way too much toilet paper, I did not just leave it until hubby came home. That would be rude, not me, I would never do that!

I can not help but wonder what a house with little girls would be like instead. I'm sure that the bathrooms would not smell like pee and not need to be scrubbed down on a daily basis. I do not ever let my bathrooms smell like pee. Nope, not me!

Don't forget to head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

Boutiki Hut Review

10:30 AM Posted by Kimberly@PrettyPinkMomma

As some of you may remember I did a feature post and giveaway for Boutiki Hut at the end of April. The owner of Boutiki Hut, Stephanie, enjoyed the feature and was kind enough to send Emilio one of my favorite onesies in her shop. The "I Scream" onesie was one of my many favorites. I was so excited when I checked my mail yesterday and discovered that it had come!

Photobucket
I love the use of the vintage fabrics to create the ice cream cone. I can hardly wait to put it on Emilio and show it off.

And for those of you wondering about the craftsmanship, the stitching is really strong and made to last. I love the feel of the different textures of the vintage fabric. I am so happy with this onesie and it is so much better in person than in the pictures.

To check out this or other great onesies go visit
Boutiki Hut, as well as their sister store Erin Jade.

Five Thing Friday #9

12:00 AM Posted by Kimberly@PrettyPinkMomma

Its Five Thing Friday time again! This is where I like to share five random things about myself or my crazy life with all of you! Hopefully you will get to know me a little bit better. I invite you to play along and share five random things about yourself with me. Just grab the button on my side bar or copy the image from above. Make sure to leave a comment if you play along so that I can go and check out your post!

1. Well, my PayPal saga is almost over. For those that read last Fridays Post you know that my PayPal account got hijacked. So far I have gotten $210 of the $300 refunded to my account. Its so lame that it takes so long to get it back into my actual bank account again.

2. Emilio is finally attempting to learn how to crawl. He is a butt scooter. He just forces his body forward by leaning to grab stuff and eventually scoots to his target. He has little idea of how to transition from sit to crawl and back again. He is starting gross motor therapy to try to gain these skills next week.

3. I think that I finally nailed down my mother-in-laws pico di gallo recipe. Its so yummy! I love chips and salsa, but chips and pico di gallo is freaking spectacular. If anyone wants me to post the recipe let me know.

4. I am seriously missing a ton of my bloggy friends! I have been spending so much time just working on the details of getting my business up and running that I just can't do everything. The balance between the reviews, giveaways and everything else blogwise that demands attention is hard to fit in with my kids and business schedule for the moment. I know that things will calm down once my site is up and running - I am just deep in preparation and as fun as it is - it is just as time consuming as blogging! :)

5. I am so sad that Celebrity Apprentice is over! I am glad that Joan Rivers won though. I think that Annie was good but way too cocky! I really noticed how she was so bossy and took credit for everything. People like that really annoy me. I prefer teamwork, even when I think my way is better. I loved how she thought she had it won, you could see it on her face, and then at the last minute he went with Joan. Awesome.

That wraps up my Five Thing Friday! To learn more about little old me you can check out my
past Five Thing Friday's.

ClipTrendz and Bows2Cute Gift Certificate Giveaway!

8:24 PM Posted by Kimberly@PrettyPinkMomma

As part of my ode to Mother's Day I am featuring a healthy smattering of mom owned businesses this month. Moms in business are so dedicated and hardworking that I love to feature them as much as possible. Being a mom in business myself I completely understand the struggle and balance between work and family. One amazing mom in business is Jamie, the woman behind the WOW in ClipTrendz and Bows2Cute. This incredible mom manages to run two bow businesses, one custom pendant business and teaches Preschool Special Education to boot! Both Oscar and Benji have taken advantage of Special Education Preschool so I really understand how challenging that can be. This awesome mom deserves some love so I most definitely want to tell you all about her awesome businesses.

The newest addition to her business brag book is ClipTrendz. ClipTrendz is a bow and hairclip site specifically designed to cater to the need of tweens and teens. After specializing in baby clips for a few years Jamie realized that there was a completely untapped market of tweens that would totally love clips and bows designed more for their age group. After checking out her site I would have to agree. Some of these clips, I even want to wear! I'm not totally sure if I could quite pull it off though! Below are some of my favorites that ClipTrendz has to offer.

I think that these clips are so perfect! I can totally see a tween or teen wearing these to accent their hair for any occasion, special or otherwise.

Sparkle, sparkle. These clips will help bring out the bling in any outfit. I think that these would definitely be great accents for any dressy event.

I absolutely love these bobby pins! How cool would these look in an updo? I am seriously contemplating getting these for myself.

ClipTrendz has so many color choices for ribbons. There are over 100 options depending upon which clips and styles you like. Not only can you find accents and clips in different styles and sizes but also flower clips, bows, headbands, kufi caps and more!

One really cool feature that girls can take advantage of is the opportunity to host a virtual ClipTrendz bow party. Girls, or their moms, can invite their friends, as many as they like, through email to participate in a week long bow party. Each friend that is invited will receive 10% off of their order. Once the party is over depending upon how many sales that the bow party generates you as the host will receive up to 60% off of your total order! I think that this idea is genius! This is such a great way to spread the savings around.

Because some of these designs are so versatile a few of the bows listed at ClipTrendz can also be found on Jamie's original hair bow site designed for babies and little girls, Bows2Cute. Jamie started creating bows and hairclips for her daughter after having a tough time finding ones that would stay in her daughter's fine hair. One thing led to another and Bows2Cute was born. Bows2Cute has been featured in many publications and sites. It seems that gals just can't get enough of these super cute bows, clips, snappies, headbands and more for the little lovelies in their lives. For example below is a picture of Jessica Alba's daughter, Honor, spotted wearing a Bows2Cute bow.

In addition to ClipTrendz and Bows2Cute, Jamie has one more egg in her basket. Etched2Reflect specializes in custom photo or monogrammed pendants. The images are captured by the light to make their reflection. Then the images are etched onto the pendant and given a smooth finish. These are really unique and very cool! You can personalize these pendants in so many ways. One of Jamie's personal favorites is the image of her son's actual footprint etched on to one of her pendants. These pendants would be a great gift for any occasion. To check them out and see for yourself go visit Etched2Reflect.

Well, in a nutshell, Jamie is one busy lady! Her dedication to customer satisfaction, excellent craftmanship and creative ideas is what sets her apart from all the rest. For great clips, snappies and bows at an affordable price go check out ClipTrendz and Bows2Cute today!

One really lucky Pretty Pink Momma reader will win a $25 gift certificate that can be used at ClipTrendz and Bows2Cute! This fantastic giveaway is open to all.

Here's How to Enter: Go visit ClipTrendz and comment back on this post telling me what your favorite item offered at ClipTrendz is. Be Specific. This must be done first before any extra entries are completed.

Five Thing Friday #8

1:48 PM Posted by Kimberly@PrettyPinkMomma

Its Five Thing Friday time again! This is where I like to share five random things about myself or my crazy life with all of you! Hopefully you will get to know me a little bit better. I invite you to play along and share five random things about yourself with me. Just grab the button on my side bar or copy the image from above. Make sure to leave a comment if you play along so that I can go and check out your post!

1. I have a had a great morning this morning, hectic, but great! The Hubs and I went to see Benji's VIP (Very Important Preschooler) presentation. It was sooo cute! He had a poster that we helped him fill out about his favorite things and pictures of himself and his family on it. He was so shy presenting it with the teacher, he spoke very quietly. The most hilarious part of his poster is the question asking what his favorite thing about school is. His answer - eating cupcakes when someone has a birthday! A. dor. able.

2. When I got back home then my great morning turned into poop. I finally made the time to check my emails only to discover that someone had hacked into my paypal account last night and authorized $300 worth of charges. Talking with the paypal people is kind of a nightmare but I hope that I will get all my money back into my account within 10 days. So, so sucky!

3. I have been pretty lazy for me this week. I actually have been watching some TV that I want to watch while the boys are at school. I should be doing something productive but I really wanted to just take a break.

4. I can't wait to see the new Star Trek movie. I am a total Trekkie at heart and I have watched the all the different Star Trek spinoffs and movies.

5. I just decided to get a digital cable box in my room. I am so excited! I love the added menu features plus I will get access to the HBO and Starz channels too that I was only able to have access to in the family room. I know, I got problems, I am a TV junkie.

That wraps up my Five Thing Friday! To learn more about little old me you can check out my past Five Thing Friday's.

I love KidsCoats.com and KidsSwimwear.com Review and Giveaway!

9:35 AM Posted by Kimberly@PrettyPinkMomma

All though it is completely raining outside and you would never know it, Spring is here. Summer will soon be on its way too. I can't wait for the Summer fun to begin! Not to mention the sleeping in part, I love sleeping in and look forward to welcoming the mornings where my kids wake me up and not the other way around. When my kids have a goodnight's sleep they are much more open to the idea of getting dressed up and going out. To do it up in style, they have been sent some lovely items courtesy of KidsCoats.com and KidsSwimwear.com.

In case you have not heard of KidsCoats.com or KidsSwimwear.com they have the cutest and most colorful boutique style selection of coats and clothes for children that you may ever come across! KidsCoats.com has the largest selection of Corky & Company Coats all at great prices and with FREE SHIPPING! They have a huge selection of girls coats, kids jackets and girls raincoats. In addition to the Corky coat, you can also pick out a great hat and mittens. KidsSwimwear.com has the largest selection of Frankie & Daisy swimsuits by Corky & Company Coats, all at great prices and with FREE SHIPPING. You will have to check out their adorable selection of girls swimsuits that include bikinis, halter top suits, tank suits and cover-ups. Not to mention the adorable infant swimwear aptly named Bathing Beauty.

The only problem that I find with either of these two great sites is that they are more directed for girls than boys. I have to say though that the outifts and coats that they do have for boys are so, so cute. Being that I have only boys, these sites just make me wish I had a beautiful little girl to dress up. I guess that I will just have to settle with picking out the awesome girly stuff for my niece.

Speaking of awesome girly stuff, I need to tell you that I absolutely love, love, LOVE the gorgeous and fun raincoats that they have for little girls. Oh, how I wish boys looked cute in this stuff, but my boys would probably get a ton of weird stares if I put my favorite Corky Wrap Swing Pink Raincoat on them and sent them off to school. Below is a picture of this beautiful coat so you can see why I love it so much!

This fully lined wrap swing coat has a zipper and a snap closure to ensure that your little lovely stays warm and dry. This swing rain coat is available starting at just $48. If for some odd reason this rain coat doesn't set your heart a blaze like it did mine they have ten other options that may do it for you.

And of course when the rain subsides and the sun peeks its head out, your little lovely will need some too cute swimwear for some summer fun. KidsSwimwear.com has the answer for your little girl's swimwear needs. KidsSwimwear.com allows you to shop for swimwear by style or group. This is a great tool to help maximize your time while shopping. All though I am sure that once you check out one category that you just won't be able to resist checking out the others too. They have suit options available from infants to size 8. Just like the KidsCoats.com line all of their designs are brightly colored with awesome patterns. Below is one of my favorite picks of their swimsuits. This design is one from the Two Tank category. I think that this is such a great idea! The Two Tank suits are kind of like a longer version of tankini but for little girls. I think that these suits make diaper changes or bathroom breaks so much easier for moms and their little girls.

This FRANKIE & DAISY Kiwi With Blue Leopard Two Tank comes in sizes from 2T to 6X and is available starting at $42.50. This suit is one of only 19 fun and flirty options in the Two Tank category.

Obviously my boys won't be sporting these cute suits, but KidsSwimwear.com did send my three boys all matching outfits instead. They each received a camp shirt that is red, white and blue and pair of denim cargo shorts that cooridinate with the shirts. How did they know that I always wanted to dress all three of them in the same outfit? These shirts are button down and short sleeved, perfect for any Summer party.

Soon enough Summer will be over and it will be time to think about the Fall. KidsCoats.com sent my boys some beautiful, or maybe handsome is a more manly word, new jackets from their Fall 2009 collection. These boys coats are all so soft and warm. When the boys saw these great coats they were thrilled! I love the fact that these coats compliment any outfit. With jeans or slacks the boys will look great and most importantly be comfortable. The boys currently have the standard all weather, water resistant jackets so it is really nice to have something as an alternative that looks great when they dress up.

Oscar received the Aviator Jacket in Sienna Plaid shown on the left. Benji received the Toggle Coat, on the right, which is very similiar in style to the Aviator only it also features toggles and is in the same color as the picture, Indigo Plaid. Both of these jackets are lined with fleece and have a zipper closure. Brown popcorn sherpa trims the cuffs, collar and pocket tops of these sweet jackets. Prices for the Aviator Jacket start at $44 and the Toggle Coat starts at $48.

Emilio received this Corky Seina Plaid Hooded Jacket with a matching Brown Sherpa Hat. This is so super soft and is lined with flannel. I have to say that this hooded jacket and hat have been a life saver for Emilio! Since receiving them I have been putting them on Emilio everyday that we have to go out to the school bus stop and wait for his brothers. It has kept him warm, dry and happy! I can't stress to you just how soft the material is. Not to mention how easy it is for me to take it on and off. It has two velcro pieces that match up and then you can put the toggles on over it. I love that the toggles are quick and easy to put on but tough for little fingers to take off. This adorable hoodie starts at $52.

If you are interested in getting these designer duds at a discount price right now Corky and Company is having an Online Ebay Warehouse and Penny Sale that will end on May 12th. All items are listed with a starting bid of only one penny! There are tons of different categories and sizes to choose from. There are thousands of Corky summer dresses and outfits so you will not want to miss this fantastic opportunity to stock up at rock bottom prices.

Please go visit KidsCoats.com and KidsSwimwear.com and see for yourself the gorgeous selection and the fine workmanship that the Corky and Company clothing line has to offer. There really are way too many wonderful items to show off in this post. I can definitely say that you do not want to miss out on seeing these designs for yourself.
